Catfish Christmas

Yesterday was Catfish Christmas!  You might be wondering what Catfish Christmas is.  Catfish Christmas was the family Christmas celebration with my mom's side of the family.  Our family has gotten very large over the last couple of years, so my Pawpaw has decided he wanted to go to a restaurant to have a family dinner together.  Pawpaw picks the restaurant, so he chose his favorite food: Catfish!  We went to a local catfish restaurant, so we named the gathering Catfish Christmas.

It was fun and it is so low stress, because all you have to do is show up!  We got to visit with family and catch up!

After dinner, we headed over to my Pawpaw's house and had desserts.  We don't exchange gifts because there are so many people, but Will did get a couple of gifts since he is the baby in the family!

 He tore into the wrapping paper. He even climbed into the large gift bag to retrieve his new Mickey Mouse sippy cups.

I love getting to see my family during this time of year!  A big thanks goes to Pawpaw and Shirley for dinner and our traditional money envelope!  Can't wait to do it again next year.
