I have been emotional these last few day, and will probably continue to be emotional until Thursday. I cannot believe that my baby is turning ONE!! I don't know where the time has gone. Some days he still seems so little and then other days he seems like such a big boy. I can't look at pictures of his first few days right now because it makes me cry. I miss those days of tiny baby and I am trying to soak up these last few moments before his birthday.
We have been so busy around our house and I know this next week will be even busier. Clay is leaving for a guy's weekend trip today and Mom, Will, and I are traveling to a family wedding tomorrow. I still have a ton of things on my to do list for Will's party.
Here is an update on the Birthday Prep:
-A trip to Party City is planned to buy all of the party supplies. I have made my list and it is long!
-Clay made a cake and it wasn't pretty. I feel the need to be completely honest on this subject. My husband made a cake and icing from scratch by himself, and it tasted GREAT! That is when it all went down hill. It was not all his fault the cake was ugly because I tried to "help" him decorate it. Needless to say, we ordered a cake from Edgar's and we will not be getting our own cake baking reality show.
-My dad cut the wood for the centerpieces. I have put the base coat of paint on them. Hopefully, I can finish them up this weekend with Mom's help.
-I hope to put the favors together this weekend as well. They should be pretty easy.
-Will had his pictures made. They are amazing. Thanks again, Erin!
-There is not much more I can do until the day of the party. I hope that it goes well. I know Will won't remember, but I will, and I want it to be special for him.
For his actual birthday on Thursday, we are just going to have our families over to celebrate. I think I am going to get cupcakes and order pizza that day. Low stress so we can focus on our boy!
If I am not around the next couple of days, you will know why--we are going to be super busy!

Sunny Sunday
The weather was beautiful today!! We spent the afternoon playing outside and Will's Pawpaw and CC even came for a visit. What a great day!
Busy Saturday
We had a busy day Saturday.
Saturday morning Will had his one-year old photo shoot with Erin (Lens Envy Photography). Will was so good. Erin did a great job with him, but I didn't expect anything less especially since she has a little boy too! I can't wait to see the pictures and have Erin take more pictures of our boy as he grows.
After finishing with the photo shoot, we headed to Wal-Mart to pick up some last minute items for a Couples Shower that night. The shower was for my cousin, Richard, and his bride-to-be, Julie. I think everyone had a great time and the bride and groom got some great gifts. It was fun to catch up with our family, as well as, meet and hang out with Julie's family. The weddding is less than a month away and I know we will all have a great time.

Will's First Haircut!!
Friday afternoon we took Will to get his FIRST HAIRCUT in preparation for his one-year old photoshoot. We took Will to see Mr. Larry. Larry is the barber that Clay has gone to for over 20 years. It was a fun experience. Will did absolutely wonderful. He laughed and smiled the whole time. Mr. Larry was so great with him and even remember to save some locks of hair for Will's baby book.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Clay and I don't normally celebrate Valentine's day, but since it was Will's first we decided to get him a little something.
I asked Clay a while back for a pink Snuggie. So he let Will get me one for Valentine's Day. I love it and Will brought it to me!
Will got a little dog and balloons!

Will tries to catch Tiger
Last weekend we headed over to Pawpaw and CC's house to hang out and eat dinner. We went and ate at Buffalo Wild Wings and Will did so good at dinner!
After dinner when went back to Pawpaw and CC's house. The have a cat named Tiger that Will wants to catch. This is Tiger the Cat:
He followed Tiger around all night but couldn't catch her. But he did catch this tiger:
I can't imagine why Tiger the Cat doesn't want to play with him! HAHA!

11 Months Old
WOW!!! Will is 11 months old. I can't believe in one month he will be a 1-year-old. Can we please slow down? I feel like if I blink he going to be 18. Crazy!
This is what Will is up to these days:
-He walks EVERYWHERE...very rarely crawls
-He is interested in anything that should be off limits to babies
-He has started climbing. He has climbed the stairs at Pawpaw & CC's house and has climbed onto the stage at church.
-He says mama, dada, bye, hey, ball, bottle, and multitude of other things that we can't understand
-He plays well by himself but of course Clay and I always want to be with him
-He dances all the time
-He plays peek-a-boo and patty cake
-He claps when others clap
-He has the biggest smile and most wonderful laugh!
-He has 5 teeth: 3 on top, 2 on bottom
-He is wearing mostly 9 month clothes, and some 12 month clothes
-He is now in a size 4 diaper
-He loves to eat
-He is still sleeping through the night
Here are some outtakes of our Will and Tiger photo shoot:
