Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day Weekend was spent hanging out with friends and family!

Sunday, we went to Dan and Celia's lake house.  Richard, Julie, Paul and Shelley went with us. It was such a fun day!

Will is in love with the water. All he wanted to do was swim, swim, swim!

Monday, we spent the day at my parent's house.  All we did was eat and relax, and it was wonderful!!  Will wanted to swim but my parent's don't have a pool.

First mom set up the sprinkler, but Will was not a fan.

So mom filled this tub up with water and Will had the best time.

Fun, fun weekend!

Last day of Preschool

Today is Will's last day of preschool for this year.  Next year he will be in 3K!  The time is going by so fast.

Here he is on his first day in August and his last day today.

He doesn't look like a toddler anymore. He is definitely a big boy!

I am so proud of him. He has learned so much this year and his teacher had nothing but great things to say about him.  I hope that he continues to enjoy school!

Since today was the last day, they let the kids bring a toy.  Will decided to take his green bear. He was really excited about it.

Starting Tuesday, Will will be in a new class with a new teacher.  Since he goes to daycare full-time, they move them up in the summer so they can adjust to their new room before the start actual school in August.

I know he is going to love Ms. Diane's class, but we will miss Ms. Tammy and Miss Emily so much. They have been great and I am so thankful to them for teaching and taking care of Will while we are at work.

Last Baseball Game Spring 2012

Today was Will's last baseball game for this season.

We got to the park early to warm up.  Look at the determination on Will's face.  He loves to bat and has gotten so much better.

Will was being silly in the dug-out and kept putting his helmet on backwards!

Will did okay at the game. He got upset after his second at-bat because he didn't get to run all the bases. He melted down for about 15 minutes after that. He pulled it together for his last turn to bat and ended up hitting his first triple. We were so proud of him.

His team did so well and we ended up winning 21-7.

One of the other dads decided that Clay needed a Gatorade splash.  It was just water though.  Clay had now idea.

We had so much fun this year and all the kids on our team were great.  We could not have asked for a better experience. We were sad when it was time to leave because we knew that we wouldn't see many of these kids until next year.

The final "Go A's" of the season!

Will and Nicholas have become great friends throughout the season. They do everything together!  They both got a little wet when Clay got the water dumped on him, so they took their shirts off!

It was such a great season and we ended with 8 wins and 1 loss! Pretty good for some 3- and 4-year olds!

Athletics End of Year Party

We had Will's baseball team's End of Year Party tonight. Since Clay is the coach, this fell on us to plan. I had no clue what to do because I have never had to do this before.  We finally decided to have a pizza party.  The kids on our team are 3- and 4-years-old, so I thought this would be simple and easy to contain the kids.

I ordered a bunch of Athletics stuff for decorations and it turned out pretty cute.

Centerpieces on the adult tables.

Crazy straws for the kids.

Centerpieces for the kids table. These turned out so cute. I taped two Cracker Jack boxes together to hold the balloons.

Trophy and cake table.

All the kids eating.

After the kids finished their pizza, we handed out trophies.  Kids get really excited about trophies. I was really happy with the trophies we picked.  They were super cute!

Will and his "baseball friends".

The team (minus one).

After we handed out trophies, we cut the cake and the kids ran around and played.  It was such a fun night and I think everyone had a good time!

I wanted a picture of Will with his trophy when we got home. I took several and this is the only one where he is looking at the camera, but he looks scared for some reason. haha!

Pictures

I never got Will's 3-year-old pictures done because we have been so busy since his birthday. I decided to go to the park with him one morning and take some pictures of him at the baseball field.  I am by no means a photographer, but I think some of these turned out pretty cute. So I guess for now, these are his 3-year-old photos!

A Black Eye and other pictures from my phone

Will got a black eye Tuesday at school.  Another little boy threw a wooden block at him and hit him right in the face.  I felt so bad for him but it didn't seem to phase him to much.

This was from the day it happened. The daycare thought he might need a stitch or stitches beacuse it was cut really deep. Thankfully once we saw it, we opted against that. I think stitches would have been more traumatic than just letting it heal on it own.

This was 3 days later.  He had a pretty rough looking black eye for about a week.

This was at Jackson's birthday party. Leslie had crafts for the kids to do and Will thought this was funny.

Eating cake-One of his favorite things to do.

His baseball photo.  So cute.

One night we had nursery at church. Bailey was the only baby, so the kids kept looking at her in the crib like she was an animal at the zoo!

You can barely see Will, Nicholas and Broc in this picture. One night after practice, the parents were talking and the kids decided to run throught puddles. They were soaked, but they had the BEST time!

Athletics

We are having such a good time being involved with Will's baseball team this year.  I love that Clay is coaching and that I get to just be a mom.  Will is really enjoying it too and loves his "baseball friends".

Headed to the park.

Playing the field.

Will playing in the dirt. This is pretty much what he did the whole season.

Kate and Gray came to one of Will's game, and Kate made him this sign.  He thought it was awesome.

Giving high fives.

This is Will's favorite part.  They all put their hands in and say "Go A's" after each game.

Will running to first base.

I got this picture from my in-laws. I don't know if Dan or Celia took it, but it's my favorite picture!

As of now, we have played 4 games and we are undefeated!
