Here is Will with Tiger at 9 months and 6 days old:
What Will is up to:
-He sits independently
-He crawls and is fast
-He pulls up on EVERYTHING!!!
-He cruises (didn't know what that word meant until I saw it in his development book-for those who don't know, it means he walks around with the help of furniture/people)
-He can stand independently for a few seconds at a time
-He plays patty-cake and "Where's Will?" (I cover my eyes and ask where his is and he pulls my hands down and SMILES!!)
-He claps, mostly while smiling right after he hears the word "no"
-He has started having separation anxiety when we drop him off at daycare (breaks my heart, so Clay takes him in now!)
-He is still eating stage 2 foods, only because there is more variety than stage 3
-He eats puffs and other finger foods as a snack, and loves to feed himself
-He loves bananas, sweet potatoes, and chicken
-He still hates anything apple!
-He is wearing size 3 diapers and 9 month clothing
-Now in addition to his bottom two teeth, he has his top two teeth. They made their appearance last Sunday!
We had his 9-month well visit on the 9th. He weighs 21 pounds and is 28 1/2 inches long (50th percentile for both). We didn't think he had to get any shots, but we were wrong. He had to get his 2nd flu shot. He did really well and didn't even cry! The doctor got to see him in action (crawling, pulling up, and cruising), he said that Will will probably be walking in the next month or at least before his first birthday. Will has tried to take a few steps at home, but he leads with his head, so the results aren't good. We have had a few bumps and bruises in the last few weeks.
Will is getting sweeter everyday and loves to explore new things. We are having the best time with him! In the last few weeks he has gotten great reports from daycare and we hope that continues. He is the best little boy!!
