Friday Night Lights & Saturday

Friday night Will went to his first high school football game.  We had decided earlier in the week to go to the Leeds game because they were playing a local team from where Clay's grandparents live. Robbin decided to go with us since she is a Leeds High School Alum!

We headed over to the stadium and it started sprinkling. We thought it would pass over but we were wrong.

It would rain and then stop and then rain and then stop again. We were all soaking wet so we decided we needed to leave.  It was only 6 minutes into the first quarter when we left.  Ha!

So Will's first Friday night high school football game didn't last very long, but we had fun anyway and of course I got a couple of pictures to document the night.

After we left, we headed over to eat some Mexican food. It was good, but Will was not in a good mood.  We were home and in bed by 9:15.   We found out later that the game went into overtime and Leeds won 3-0.  Yes only one team scored the whole game! Not the night we planned but it was fun and we always love getting to spend time with Robbin.

Saturday morning, Will and I went for a walk with mom. When we returned home, Clay had gone to ride motorcycles with John so I had to entertain Will. He was messy from his breakfast so i put him in the kitchen sink.

He played in there for 30 minutes and had the best time. He even cried when I took him out.

The rest of the day was spent watching football. It was nice that the Auburn game had been played on Thrusday, so we could relax and watch some other teams.  John, Ashley, Craig, Leslie, and Jackson came over and ate hotdogs that night.  Will played football with Craig and it was so funny!

I wish I had gotten a picture of Will and Jackson together but I didn't because I was to busy kissing Jackson's cheeks and trying to keep Jealous Will from crawling up my leg. Ha!

It was a good weekend and we made some more memories with Will!
